Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of online-webhooks.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

online-webhooks.com provides webhook testing and debugging tools, including generating temporary webhook URLs, capturing and inspecting incoming HTTP requests, replaying requests, verifying webhook signatures, an in-browser load tester, and a forward-to-localhost utility. Features available depend on whether you use the free tier or a paid plan.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You sign in with a one-time email link or a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send, capture, or store unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Test, load test, or send traffic to any endpoint you do not own or do not have explicit permission to test. The load testing tool must only be pointed at systems you are authorized to test.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt the Service or any third party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or related systems.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Captured data

Requests sent to a generated webhook URL are stored so you can inspect them. Do not send production secrets or sensitive personal data to webhook URLs unless necessary for your testing. Free-tier endpoints and their captured requests expire automatically (see our Privacy Policy for retention details). You are responsible for the content you direct to the Service.

5. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; see our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Stored data may be lost; do not rely on the Service as a system of record.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, online-webhooks.com and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; stored data may be deleted.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
